It looks awful, too: a garish bar marking your score and an eerie dancing silhouette on a flat, black background are all you have to guide your efforts. The game itself is wafer thin, offering a few different multiplayer modes but nothing for a single player. Dance games need dance mats, not Wiimotes. And as dancing tends to involve more foot movements than anything else, a game that responds solely to you moving a wand in your hand seems somewhat counter-intuitive. For starters, the Wiimote only sporadically recognises your moves, which makes the experience of waving your arms around as frustrating as it is embarrassing. Sadly, Just Dance fails on all these counts.
